The sun is in the sky and parade season is near.  It is time for you to prepare and get ready for the annual State Shoebox Parade on May 16th 2013.

 Make a float representing the state you studied this year.  Decorate  your  float with items or pictures of things associated with your state

Must include on your float:

o   State name
o   State flag and flower
o   A string or rope attached to your float so you can pull it.

Optional – you can add wheels to your float for better transportation if you want

o   NO remote control cars or battery operated devices
